The beautiful Colleen

Recently I met a beautiful young woman due to the amazing generosity of her mom and dad. When my vehicle was totaled, Colleen's mom and dad made sure that I was never without a vehicle. Never asking for money, never asking when I'd have a replacement. As a mom with kids and a full time job, this was literally a life saver! And since they would not allow me to pay them for it, I decided to offer to take Colleen's senior photos as a thank you. 

Colleen and I decided to go on a road trip to a little town that I just LOVE to photograph! At every turn and every alley, there is an amazing area to photograph so we just loaded up on sugar and walked around! We had a lot of fun and we got some great shots! 

Luke & Apollo

Today I got to meet the coolest little boys I have met in a long time. Luke is 5 and will be starting Kindergarten and Apollo just wanted to walk...and he's only 9 months! This session was a high energy and fun session and it went really quickly, but I got a bunch of GREAT shots! Take a look!!

Keira's Fine Array of Headbands

I am so excited to be working with Keira for the next year. She is such a little doll! She came into the studio wearing teal glittered sunglasses and I just KNEW we'd have fun today! Her mommy has my style, loves to make headbands, and we love the same Etsy shops. This baby's first year package was a match made in heaven I tell ya! The first headband was my creation and the multi-colored one was her mommy's. Watch for us on Etsy!

I just HAD to post this photo. This was the face she made after we took her pacifier out of her mouth EVERY TIME! Too stinkin' cute!

Happy Birthday Gemma & Gabe!

so i'm a day late, but...Happy Birthday Gemma & Gabriel!

From the first day I met your mommy, I knew you two would be special. The chaos of trying to get maternity photos, then NICU photos, then your newborn sessions was definitely a fun and wild ride! You are truly amazing babies and you were born into a wonderful family. I hope to get to see you more and more as you grow. Happy Birthday beautiful babies!

As little as you were, you looked so healthy and so beautiful.

Twenty little finger and twenty little toes!

You had me wrapped around your tiny little fingers from the start!

You were SO tiny in this session! I'll never forget doing this session with your mommy, me, and both of you stuffed into your Grandma's upstairs bathroom because it was the only room that had a heater. We definitely made it work and got creative!

3 months and you FINALLY fit into the hats I made you before you were born!

6 months old!

Gabe has always welcomed the camera with bright eyes and a huge smile. Gemma....not so much. You take a little more coaxing from Katie and showing my face from behind the camera before I can get smiles out of you, little girl. But when you do...watch out and be ready to snap the photo! Gorgeous little girl!

9 months old and we finally get to go outside for photos! At nine months, you're models for a clothing line!

So we're a little behind on the one year photos, but I just had to post this today. I'll update with the 1 year photo when we get the session done!
Gemma and Gabe, you have been so much fun this year and you've grown SO much! You have an amazing mommy and daddy and I feel so lucky to get to be a part of your lives!

Gabriel - 8 days new!

i got to spend my whole morning with sweet sweet gabriel, who wasn't supposed to be born until the 25th!

the boys were too cool for katie.

cai was cooperative, sweet, and OH so photogenic!

this session was challenging in that i have not worked with boys this age much, let alone cousins that don't get to see each other much and were in that "goofy cousin mode".

it was fun, it was hot, and we even broke down (the car i mean!)
